- What makes LegendCraft different from other personalized children's books?
- Most personalized books just swap in your child's name and face. LegendCraft does three things together: a cinematic, hand-considered likeness; a story built around your child's specific traits, hopes, and fears; and a hardcover printed to keep. Every book is generated for one child, printed once, and never reused.
- How do you create a personalized children's book?
- You tell us about your child — their name, what they look like, and up to two traits or fears that matter most. We then write a unique 21-page adventure starring them and illustrate every page from scratch. No templates, no stock art. The full book takes a few minutes to generate.
- What age are LegendCraft personalized books for?
- LegendCraft books are written for ages 2–5 — the years when children form their sense of self through stories. The language is read-aloud friendly, the themes are age-appropriate, and the personalization grows with the child: a 2-year-old recognizes their face; a 5-year-old recognizes their feelings.
- What languages are LegendCraft books available in?
- LegendCraft books are available in English, Italian, Spanish, and French. You choose the language when creating the story, and the full text — title, narration, dialogue — is written natively in that language. Illustrations stay universal so siblings in different languages share the same world.
- How long does it take to receive my personalized kids' book?
- Digital generation takes about 3–5 minutes from the moment you finish the form. Once you order the printed hardcover, your book is printed to order and shipped to your door in roughly 7–14 business days, depending on where you live. Tracking arrives by email the day it leaves the press.
- What format are LegendCraft personalized books for kids printed in?
- Books are printed as hardcover Crown Quarto (7.44" × 9.68") with full-color illustrations on every page, by Lulu Press. Each book is printed once, on demand, for the child it was made for. They're built to be held in small hands, opened a thousand times, and kept on a shelf for twenty years.
- Can I preview the custom book for kids before it's printed?
- Yes. After generation, you can flip through a digital preview of your personalized children's book — cover, full narration, and every illustration — before placing the print order. Nothing goes to the press until you decide it's right. You can share the preview link with family before ordering, too.
- Is it easy to create a custom children's book?
- Very easy. Fill in a short form describing your child (name, appearance, traits, favorite world), pick a language, and click Generate. The full book takes a few minutes to write and illustrate. No design skills, no prompts, no waiting list — just you, telling us about your child.
- Can a personalized children's book help with fears like fear of the dark?
- Yes — that's how LegendCraft is built. You tell us the fear, and the story is shaped around it. A child afraid of the dark becomes the hero who carries the only light. The fear is named, faced, and resolved inside the book — a small parable the child can keep returning to.
- Is every LegendCraft book one of a kind?
- Yes. Every LegendCraft book is generated for one specific child — their traits, their likeness, their chosen world — and printed once. The story is never recycled for another child. The file is never reprinted as a template. The book your child receives exists, on the page, only for them.
